Settings → Team
Everyone can see who is in the firm. Owners and admins can invite.
Who is here
Each member shows their name, email and role, with owners highlighted.
An account belongs to one firm. There is no account switcher, and somebody who already has an account with another firm cannot be invited to yours.
Inviting someone
- Enter their email address.
- Choose a role: admin, analyst or viewer.
- Send.
They are emailed a setup link, valid for 7 days, naming you and the firm.
You cannot invite an owner. An owner promotes somebody after they have joined.
Inviting an address that is already on the team is refused.
Pending invitations
Invitations that can still be accepted are listed, marked Emailed with the date, with Resend.
Resending replaces the old link. The previous one stops working, and the same happens if you invite the same address again. So each person has exactly one live link, and a link that leaked is cancelled by resending.
How accepting works
The setup page names the firm and fills in the invited address, which cannot be changed. The account is created for that address only, so a forwarded link cannot be used to join under a different email.
The link is never shown inside the application, so arriving with one proves the person receives mail at that address. They are signed straight in, with no separate confirmation step.
A link that has expired, been replaced or been used says so when opened.
Choosing a role
See Roles and what each can do for the full table. In short:
- Viewer — read-only
- Analyst — the working role. Deals, records, fields, their own mailbox
- Admin — the above plus firm settings, invitations and restricting records
- Owner — everything, including promoting owners and billing
Start people as analysts unless there is a reason not to. Viewer is genuinely read-only and frustrating for anyone expected to do work; admin hands over the buy box.
What you cannot do yet
- Change somebody's role after they join, from this screen
- Remove a member
- Invite an owner
- Cancel an invitation without replacing it
